When you look
Ganesha, You may see a charming, slightly comical elephant-headed God that you have been told to pray to first before you start anything new. He is believed to be the remover of obstacles. There are deeper symbolic meanings of Ganesha. His large ears and head indicate that he has gained wisdom through listening and reflecting on the eternal truths of the Vedas. His head and trunk are curved into the shape of the Om, our most sacred of symbols, representing the primeval sound of creation and our most powerful mantra in prayer and meditation. The importance of the elephant is also that it is a herbivore, eating Sathwic food a calm and gentle animal that also has immense strength, which it uses only when needed. Lord Ganeshas large belly is said to contain the whole universe.

About Harsh Malik
Art for me is a journey of the soul that never ends. To make this journey beautiful and lively I am painting the path for others to walk on happily. Born and brought up in India, a land of Art, Culture and spirituality, I got the love for art from my father, who was a great appreciator of my paintings and inherited the love for life from my mother. They both were strong believers of God. My father would sing prayers daily with one of his musical instrument and my mother would perform Hawan daily. And so my paintings reflect a very musical and spiritual feel. The human faces I paint, have angelic expressions. My family was very conservative, so I was confided to my city where I pursued my Bachelor and later Master’s degree in FINE ARTS....
