To put it another way, when the soul’s own existence merges into the lotus feet of Godhead. Then what’s left is only absolute soul but many devotees don’t like to gain salvation by loosing their existence in the way as the poet Tulsidas says he who worships true virtue seeks not salvation because their emotional essence in the relationship of love which is the joy of life and pain of separation the polygamy of lovers’ complaints. The charm of mock quarrels and wooing where is such joy once you gain salvation so the relationship of these souls and Krishna is that of the lover and the beloved wants her lover to be only hers and his love should be only for her she does not want to share love. Similarly all the women dancing the Maharas each of them has her own Krishna. The hidden meaning of Mahras is that every individual soul has its own absolute soul with whom it is eternally engaged in playful union. As keep a hundred pots filled with water you see the sun reflected separately in every pot and every pot thinks the sun belongs only to it because the sun is inside it and nowhere else. This is the offering of devotion as love this is the great cosmic dance that goes on in creation eternally, Every atom of creation experiences this. This is the great dance of mystic level the share dance, and followers rejoice all the four directions resound to the flute echo (reverberation) spiritual awakening blossoms in every heart. This signifies coexistence of hedonism and Asceticism is innate parts of each other.

The root of the word Rass is Ras or emotional essence. Shree Krishna embodies this essence that I am the essence of all: the lord’s beloved Goddess Radha is Parkrity(Nature) and innate spiritual power. krishna is cosmic man and absolute soul and Brindawan(MahaRass performed in Brindawan, a town in India UP) is the thousand petals lotus and milkmaids are multiple facts of the heart, the pure sweet melody is flute is the vital primeval sound, the ascetic hears. Heance, when love rites are described, it has to be portrayed in human terms. As the poet Surdas says, when Radha and Krishna comes into the forest, they talk and walk with hands in hands and exchanges their appearances and voices. Radha makes herself in Krishna’s dress and Krishna makes himself as Radha. The interchange of their roles between Radha and Krishna is widely depicted in paintings. This is divine love, can’t be portrayed without physical depiction of love.

Some Five hundred years ago, a great man born, famous as Guru Nanak Dave. One day, while he was passing through a village with his disciples, experienced the village people were rude with all the bad qualities. Guru Nanak blessed them to settled there for ever. Few days later, he passed another village; The people were wonderful, they welcomed him and his followers with warm heart, feed them with good food. When He left the village he had a blessing for them, "May God spread these good people all over the earth." His disciple were confused and asked, "O Great Guru! why you blessed bad people to settle there for ever and good people to scatter." Guru Nanak Dave answered, "I want to stay bad energy at one place so that they will not spread bad things all over the world. But I need good people to spread all over so that they could spread good things all over."

Since the Universe started, there is a struggle between Goods and Evils. For our convenience, we can name them Devas(good) and Asuras(evils). The funny thing is that, both asuras and devas born from the same father but different mothers.
Today I am telling you a story of Kach; he was a son of Jupiter. Jupiter was the guru of Devas and Venus was the Guru of Asuras. As you know there was constantly struggle between Asuras and Devas. Guru Venus wanted to help Asuras so he prayed to Lord and did lots of Yoga Sadhna. At last Lord appeared and he gave him a “New Life Mantra”. The quality of this Mantra was, when Asuars had a fight with Devas and someone died in battle ground, Guru Venus was able to give him with his New Life Mantra. Slowly the Devas started becoming less and less, but the Asuras were the same, because of Venus’s Mantras. Devas had a meeting and decided to go to their Guru Jupiter for help. They went to Guru and asked his son Kach as he was a very smart and intelligent young boy. Jupiter gave his permission; they send kach to learn the “New Life Mantra” Since it wasn’t easy tast to get the mantra from venus, Devas and Jupiter suggested to make a good friendship with his only daughter. Kach went to Guru Venus and said that “I came to seek knowledge from you and serve you with my best. Please make me your disciple” He smartly didn’t give his true identity, because if he gave him, Venus won’t accept him as his disciple. Now he started learning and trying to do the best service to Guru. Devyani the only daughter of Venus was very much attracted with the young intelligent boy kach. Kach used to help for every chore of the school and house with great care as he was living in their out house.
Time was passing nicely, but Kach had no way to get the Mantra for which he came there. In the meanwhile intelligence agency of Asuras had a doubt that he was related to Devas. They immediate went to Venus to aware him with the situation. Venus understood their concerns and fears ordered him to leave; but Damyanti the darling daughter of Venus was not ready to let go Kach. When Asuras saw they couldn't get rid of Kach because of Devyani, they made a new plan. One day, when Kach was alone, they killed him, burned him into ashes and throw the ashes in to Ocean. when Devyani came home and didn't see kach, she started crying. Venus meditated and with his yoga powers, he visioned the whole story. To please his darling daughter, he used his "New Life Mantra". With his great spiritual powers, he collected the ashes of Kach and converted him in to same handsome young boy once again.
Asuras knew that no matter what they would do to Kach, he will be alive with the help of Venus. This time they came with a unique plan; they killed him, cooked him, and feed him to Guru Venus. Now Devyani started crying again and Venus used his Yoga powers one more time. The situation was tougher this time. He told his daughter to pick one because she couldn't have both as Kach was in his stomach. He said to his daughter, "If I give him life, I will die right away because kach is in my stomach, the only way, he can alive is to cut my stomach." Devyani loved his father so much and was not ready to loose him. But she wanted kach also. Ultimately they came with a plan, which made Kach to achieve his goal by luck. Guru Venus told Kach, who was in his stomach, "I am teaching you the "New Life Mantra", when I will alive you, I will be dead as you can come out by cutting my stomach only, use the same mantra on me to give me new life." They both did the same and they both lived.
The purpose of Kach fulfilled so he came to Guru Venus to give him permission to go back his home. When he was ready to leave, Devyani came to him and propossed, "I love you and save your life many times and now I want you to marry me." Kach replied with respect, "We studied together with the same Guru and now I came out from your father's stomach, this way you are like my sister and it's not right to marry with sister." Devyani got angry and wanted to curse him, but kach said, "You shouldn't curse me and if you curse me, and if you curse me it won't effect on me because I am rightly saying that you can be my sister not my wife. Whenever in the life you need my help, I will be there to help you." At last Devyani understood and let kach go with heavy heart.
Kach went back to Devas, where he had a big welcome. Devas were very happy and impressed the way he fulflled his duty. Now Venus and Kach had the same "New Life Mantra". There was a balance of power between Devas and Asuras. The fight stopped between them at least for a while.

This is an oil painting and Sage Narada is wandering in the Universe chanting Narayana Narayana............and the lotuses I made for two reasons....one is to balance the painting and the second is Lotus is a favorite flower of Lord Vishnu. we know the lotus stands for beauty, symmetry, whiteness and particularly it's ability, both real and mythical, to stand in the midst of waters without itself getting wet.............this fact of nature linguistically expressed in compound word which all Indian languages treasure.
